"Sherlock Holmes" has made his reputation to find the truth in the heart of the most complex mysteries. With the help of Dr. John Watson, a trusted ally, the famous "consulting detective" is unequaled in the pursuit of criminals of all stripes, whether sole reliance on the power of observation, deductive skills are extraordinary, or blunt force of his fist.
But now a storm is gathering over London, the threat is not like anything I've ever faced Holmes ... and the only challenge he's looking for.
After a series of brutal, ritualistic murders, Holmes and Watson arrived just in time to save the latest victim and the killer revealed: Lord Blackwood unrepentant. As he approached his scheduled hanging, Blackwood, which had terrorized the inhabitants and the prison warden as the same as the connection to the dark and powerful force-Holmes warned that the death has no power over him and, in fact, play a direct execution to the plan Blackwood.
And when, by all indications, Blackwood made good on his promise, his resurrection clearly confounds panic London and Scotland Yard. But for Holmes, the game was going on.

In a dynamic new description of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous character, Robert Downey Jr. plays the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. Revealing fighting skills as powerful as his famous intellect, Holmes uses his own unique method for getting the heart of a case, the way in which no one would think to go to find what others can not see.
Jude Law describes Watson, Holmes's old partner, who joined him in what might be their last case before the doctor started a new life as a married man. Rachel McAdams is Irene Adler, an American woman, who was so tempting as he is very dangerous, and a tempestuous relationship with detective has become one of the puzzle he could not solve. Mark Strong plays the Lord Blackwood, the intellect alone, combined with merciless ambition, made him a formidable opponent. Eddie Marsan emerged as Scotland Yard's Inspector Lestrade, who both impressed and frustrated by the great Sherlock Holmes.
Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Silver Pictures Production, in cooperation with Wigram Productions, a Guy Ritchie film, "Sherlock Holmes." Ritchie directed film of the screenplay by Michael Robert Johnson and Anthony Peckham and Simon Kinberg, screen story by Lionel Wigram, and Michael Robert Johnson. Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin to produce the film, with Michael Tadross and Bruce Berman serve as executive producer and Steve Clark-Hall co-production.
